Chocolate Peanut Butter Mug Cake

Found this recipe here The Family Kitchen and am in love with it. very quick and easy... makes a single serving.. perfect for sharing with a loved one.. a little bit of whip cream or ice cream and it is double Perfect! I followed the recipe,  took one and a half minutes in my microwave.. and then I also sprinkled a few chocolate chips on top.

Hot Chocolate Mix

ingredients:
an 8-quart package of powdered milk
a pound of cocoa
2/3 cup confectioner's sugar
6 ounces powdered coffee creamer

Mix thoroughly.

Fill cup 1/3 to 1/2 full of hot chocolate mix and add hot water. Stir.

Lenore's notes:
Every three years my extended family would get together for a few days over the new year's holiday at a rural camp in Michigan or Ontario. This hot chocolate mix was always available as we came in from playing in the snow!

I like to leave a little room in the mug for some cold milk. It cools down the hot chocolate just enough so that I can drink it right away and it makes it taste even richer and creamier.

I found the same recipe in a church cookbook, but theirs called for a full pound of powdered (confectioner's) sugar! Very sweet.

Marshmallows are always good with hot chocolate!
