The other day I had an email from a good friend for a recipe exchange. I needed to send the email to 20 people which was just something I could not do... I don't have that many people that I email with. I did send it to as many people as I could find and had some emails from those people saying they did not have 20 people they could email to either.
I really wanted to do this though, I love new recipes and ones from real people who use it and enjoy it. I love recipes that use real things that we as moms and grandmas ( and any dads or grandpas ) have and use in our kitchens. Recipes that are quick and easy and well loved, ones with stories.
Talked with another friend this morning and we were discussing the email recipe exchange and one thing lead to another and we came up with what we think will be a wonderful, fun and easy way to share recipes. We can all share them here. This way anyone who would like to can come by at anytime and browse through the recipes, they can also comment on it or ask questions about it. People can come back and share their experience with the recipe, share how they might have tweaked it for their family, add their story to it.
If you have any questions or suggestions please feel free to contact me. I would also love it if you could share this with anyone you think might be interested. The more people we get the better collection of recipes. Would love to see all types of recipes from everyone from everywhere.
